Orlando is the entertainment and vacation capital of the world and is home to Disney World, Universal Studios and almost 100 other theme parks and attractions. Past the man-made attractions that has made Orlando so famous you will also discover the natural beauty that Florida has to offer with the superb beaches of the Gulf and Space coasts just over an hour away. Here is just a selection of what Orlando can offer. The biggest problem you will have is working out how to fit it all in just 2 weeks! www.disneyworld.com Walt Disney World Resort covers a total of 47 sq. miles; about the size of San Francisco or Greater Manchester in the UK, and is the world's largest theme park. Walt Disney World Resort features four major theme parks, plus water parks, golf courses, night-time attractions and shopping.

www.seaworld.com SeaWorld Orlando is where you enjoy thrilling rides one minute and feed the dolphins the next. Where you can count the teeth on a shark before taking a simulated helicopter ride to the Wild Arctic. And just try to stay dry once you meet Shamu the world famous killer whale and star of the show.

www.discoverycove.com Discovery cove is where you can interact with a variety of marine animals, most notably bottlenose dolphins. The park is adjacent to SeaWorld and in addition to swimming with dolphins, guests can interact with exotic birds, tropical fishes, rays and land mammals. Admission packages are around $280 per person and advance booking is recommended.

www.universalorlando.com Universal Studios Orlando is a working movie studio that lets visitors "Ride the Movies." The park offers many shows, rides, along with countless other things to see and do. Its sister park, Islands of Adventure features many unique hi-tech thrill rides. When the day is over, spend an evening at Universal's City Walk - full of nightlife and eateries!

www.buschgardens.com Busch Gardens near Tampa is an adventure park offering an array of fascinating attractions based on exotic encounters with the African continent. A unique blend of thrilling rides, one of the country's premier zoos featuring more than 2,700 animals, live shows, restaurants and shopping.

www.cypressgardens.com Cypress Gardens is Florida's first theme park and with over 50 world records broken here through the years it is also known as the Water Ski Capital of the World. The park has over 40 rides including six coasters and the world's tallest spinning rapids ride!

www.kennedyspacecenter.com The Kennedy Space Center is about an hour from the villa, not really a theme park but NASA's launch headquarters and the only place on Earth where you can tour launch areas, meet an Astronaut, see giant rockets, train in space flight simulators, and even view a launch.
